The anticipation for Kangana Ranaut’s next cinematic venture, “Chandramukhi 2,” has reached new heights as the first look poster has been revealed. Lyca Productions, on Saturday, treated fans to a sneak peek of the film by unveiling a captivating poster featuring Kangana in the role of Chandramukhi. Dressed in an exquisite green saree adorned with intricate jewelry, Kangana exudes an aura of regal elegance. Positioned within the confines of what appears to be a palace, she projects a stern and commanding expression.
The poster’s caption resonates with the awe-inspiring visual, stating, “The beauty and the pose that effortlessly steals our attention! Presenting the enviable, commanding, and gorgeous 1st look of #KanganaRanaut as Chandramukhi from #Chandramukhi2. Releasing this GANESH CHATURTHI in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, & Kannada!”
Eager fans wasted no time in reacting to the poster, showering it with excitement and anticipation for the forthcoming film. Helmed by director P Vasu, “Chandramukhi 2” stands as a captivating blend of horror and comedy, continuing the legacy of the blockbuster Tamil predecessor. In this sequel, Kangana will grace the screen as a dancer in the court of a king, adding her charismatic touch to the narrative.
Backed by Lyca Productions and Subaskaran, “Chandramukhi 2” is all set to grace theaters in September of this year, promising an enthralling cinematic experience for audiences.
While the spotlight remains on “Chandramukhi 2,” Kangana Ranaut’s versatile talents extend beyond this project. She is set to dazzle the silver screen in “Emergency,” where she not only portrays the iconic former Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi but also takes the directorial reins.
The announcement of “Emergency” in 2021 stirred much excitement, and Kangana subsequently clarified that while the film is a political drama, it is not intended to be a biopic of Indira Gandhi. Alongside Kangana, the cast includes luminaries like Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade, among others. Audiences can mark their calendars for November 24, 2023, when “Emergency” will grace theaters with its thought-provoking narrative and powerhouse performances.
