Meghalaya: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma conducted a thorough inspection of the nearing completion of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly building situated in Mawdiangdiang. Accompanied by esteemed dignitaries including Speaker Thomas Sangma, Deputy Speaker Timothy D Shira, Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, and Sniawbhalang Dhar, Sangma expressed satisfaction with the progress of the construction.
During the inspection, CM Conrad K Sangma remarked on the advanced stage of the project, stating that the building should be ready for inauguration soon. He assured that necessary directives have been issued to the construction company to expedite the remaining works. This move underscores the government’s commitment to timely completion and efficient utilization of resources for crucial infrastructure projects in Meghalaya.
The nearly completed Legislative Assembly building holds significant importance in the state’s governance framework, serving as a symbol of democratic representation and administrative efficiency. CM Conrad K Sangma’s proactive involvement in overseeing the project reaffirms the government’s dedication to enhancing legislative infrastructure and facilitating the smooth functioning of governance processes.
