Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has embarked on a campaign trail in Warimagre, under the Chokpot constituency in South Garo Hills, to garner support for National People’s Party (NPP) candidate Smt Agatha Sangma.
Addressing the electorate, CM Conrad K Sangma emphasized the importance of backing Smt Agatha Sangma in the upcoming elections, highlighting her credentials and commitment to serving the people of Meghalaya. Sangma’s visit to Warimagre underscores the NPP’s concerted efforts to secure victory in the region.
Furthermore, CM Conrad K Sangma announced a significant development in the campaign, revealing that coalition partner Garo National Council (GNC) and its leaders, including Deputy Chief Executive Member (Dy CEM) of GHADC Mr Nikman Marak and former Dy CEM Augustine Marak, have pledged their support to the NPP. This alliance aims to consolidate voter support and ensure success for NPP’s candidate in the elections.
The collaboration between NPP and GNC reflects a broader strategy to unite electorates behind a common goal of progress and development for Meghalaya. CM Sangma expressed confidence in the alliance’s ability to mobilize voters and secure victory for the NPP candidate.
As the campaign gains momentum, CM Sangma’s presence in Warimagre signals a focused effort to engage with voters, address their concerns, and garner support for NPP’s candidate. With the backing of coalition partners and the commitment of party leaders, the NPP aims to emerge victorious in the upcoming elections, ushering in a new era of prosperity and development for Meghalaya.
