Congress Leader: Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, revealed during a cluster meeting of Lok Sabha constituencies in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, Pali, Jalore-Sirohi, and Barmer, that several Congress leaders have officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This significant development unfolded in the esteemed presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, marking a notable shift in political affiliations.
Among the prominent Congress leaders who embraced BJP membership are Mr. Hanuman Singh Khangata, Mr. Pappu Ram Dara, Mr. Bhagirath, Mr. Faglu Ram, Mr. Sukhdev Devasi, Mr. Devendra Beniwal, Mr. Tejaram ji, Mr. Suresh Gurjar, and Mr. Sohanlal Jangid. Their decision to align with the BJP underscores the growing strength and appeal of the party in Rajasthan’s political landscape.
In his statement, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat extended a warm welcome to the newly inducted members, expressing gratitude for their decision to join the BJP. This move is expected to bolster the party’s presence and organizational structure in the region, further consolidating its position ahead of upcoming electoral challenges.
