Andhra Pradesh: On the 29th of December PM Modi expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap at a public meeting in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
PM announced that Rs 2 lakh will be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives. Rs 2 lakh will be given to the next of kin of the deceased, and the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will provide Rs 50,000 to those injured in the accident.
“Pained by the mishap at a public meeting in Nellore, AP. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakhs from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased and the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.
Modi said, “am deeply saddened by the tragedy that took place in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Wish speedy recovery to injured”.
