Haryana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in Haryana’s development journey by inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for various transformative projects worth over Rs 9750 crores in Rewari. These projects encompass critical sectors such as urban transport, healthcare infrastructure, rail connectivity, and tourism enhancement.
During his address to the gathered audience, PM Modi paid homage to the valorous spirit of Rewari, acknowledging the region’s enduring affection towards him. Reflecting on his longstanding relationship with Rewari, he recalled his first political rally as the Prime Ministerial candidate in 2013, reminiscing the overwhelming support and good wishes extended by the people.
PM Modi attributed India’s progress on the global stage to the unwavering support and blessings of its citizens. He cited instances such as India’s rising stature in international forums like the G20, successful space missions like Chandrayaan, and significant economic advancements as testimony to the nation’s collective efforts and resilience.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of Haryana in India’s developmental trajectory, PM Modi underscored the importance of investing in the state’s infrastructure and human capital. He unveiled a comprehensive array of projects aimed at modernizing transportation networks, enhancing healthcare accessibility through institutions like AIIMS Rewari, and promoting cultural heritage through initiatives like Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar.
PM Modi reiterated his commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people, citing examples such as the implementation of ‘One Rank One Pension’ for ex-servicemen and the establishment of AIIMS in Rewari. He highlighted the government’s efforts to bolster the MSME sector, empower women through various schemes, and provide avenues for skill development and employment generation.
Furthermore, PM Modi applauded Haryana’s strides in sectors like agriculture, industry, and textile manufacturing, showcasing the state’s potential as an investment destination. He assured continued support from the central government in realizing Haryana’s vision of becoming a leading contributor to India’s economic growth story.
In closing, PM Modi underscored the collaborative efforts of the central and state governments in steering Haryana towards prosperity and inclusive development.
