On the 3rd of January President Droupadi Murmu inaugurates Samvidhan Udyan at Raj Bhavan Jaipur, virtually inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of projects of the Ministry of Power.
President said, “I am extremely happy to inaugurate the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Maharana Pratap along with the Constitution Garden as well as the Mayur Stambh, the National Flag Stambh in the Raj Bhavan premises. I am sure that the lofty ideals enshrined in these symbols will inspire generations to come”.
“This is my first visit to Rajasthan as the President. The people of Rajasthan have written indelible stories of valor and sacrifice. I bow down to this land of such personalities”.
Dr. Ambedkar had said, “I understand that however good a constitution may be, it can prove to be bad if the people who follow it are bad. However bad a constitution may be, it can prove to be good if the people who follow it are good.
She said, “Our constitution is a living document that is fully capable of incorporating the hopes and aspirations of the people changing with time”.
Father of the nation “Mahatma Gandhi” had written in his letter ‘Young India’ that he will work for such an India in which even the poorest of the poor feel that his words are also considered in the making of our country. Our democracy based on the Constitution of India is moving forward according to that thought of Bapu.
President said, “Our sisters, on the strength of their struggle and ability, are continuously increasing their presence and contribution from Panchayat Bhawan to Parliament House and are serving society and the country”.
