President of India’s Gujarat and Rajasthan Visit Scheduled from February 12 to 14

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to undertake a significant journey to Gujarat and Rajasthan from February 12 to 14, 2024, where she will participate in a series of commemorative events and engagements aimed at fostering dialogue and development.

On February 12, Smt. Murmu will honor the 200th Janmotsav – Gyan Jyoti Parv Smaranotsav Samaroh, celebrating the birth anniversary of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, in Tankara, Gujarat. Concurrently, she will grace and deliver an address at the 20th convocation of the esteemed Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology in Surat, emphasizing the importance of education and innovation.

Continuing her itinerary on February 13, the President will visit the Srimad Rajchandra Mission in Dharampur, Valsad, underscoring the significance of spiritual values in societal harmony and welfare. Additionally, she will engage with members of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in Dharampur, aiming to understand their concerns and needs firsthand.

Concluding her visit on February 14, Smt. Murmu will address a gathering of tribal women associated with various Self Help Groups at Beneshwar Dham, Rajasthan, highlighting the empowerment of women and marginalized communities through economic initiatives and collective action.
