Prime Minister Modi to Inaugurate Multiple Development Projects in Rajasthan

Rajasthan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Rajasthan’ program on February 16, 2024, via video conferencing, marking a significant milestone in Rajasthan’s development trajectory. During the event, PM Modi will inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects totaling over Rs 17,000 crore.

Among the key projects are road infrastructure initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity, including the inauguration of various National Highway projects valued at more than Rs 5,000 crore. Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate sections of the 8-lane Delhi-Mumbai Greenfield Alignment and a 6-lane Greenfield Udaipur Bypass, along with other road projects across Jhunjhunu, Abu Road, and Tonk districts.

Railway infrastructure will also receive a boost, with PM Modi dedicating eight significant railway projects worth approximately Rs 2,300 crore to the nation. These projects include electrification initiatives along key rail routes and the development of modern railway facilities like the Khatipura railway station.

In the renewable energy sector, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for solar projects totaling around Rs 5,300 crore, furthering the government’s commitment to clean energy production. These projects will contribute to green power generation and economic development in the region.

Moreover, PM Modi will dedicate power transmission projects valued at over Rs 2,100 crore, aimed at evacuating power from solar energy zones to beneficiaries efficiently. Additionally, multiple projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission will be launched to strengthen clean drinking water infrastructure across Rajasthan.

Furthermore, the inauguration of the Indian Oil’s LPG bottling plant in Jodhpur will bolster employment opportunities and cater to the LPG needs of lakhs of customers in the region.

The program will witness widespread participation across all districts of Rajasthan, with the main event held in Jaipur. It underscores PM Modi’s commitment to transforming Rajasthan’s infrastructure landscape and fostering growth and development opportunities for its residents.
