Rajasthan: In a devastating turn of events, Rajasthan Congress leader Manvendra Singh Jasol faced a tragic road accident near Alwar, resulting in the loss of his wife, Chitra Singh. The incident unfolded on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway near Khushpuri village, where the senior Congress leader and his son Solanki Singh were critically injured and admitted to a hospital.

Manvendra Singh Jasol, the son of former BJP stalwart Jaswant Singh Jasol, served as a Member of Parliament from Barmer between 2004 and 2009 with the BJP. However, he parted ways with the saffron party before the Rajasthan Assembly elections in 2018.

The accident occurred while the Congress leader was traveling from Delhi to Jaipur with his family. Although the police assured that the injured were ‘out of danger,’ the tragic loss of Chitra Singh has left the political community in sorrow.
