Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film “Dunki” has officially made its digital debut on Netflix, marking a special Valentine’s Day treat for fans worldwide. The streaming giant announced the arrival of the Rajkumar Hirani-helmed dramedy on Wednesday, inviting viewers to embark on a delightful cinematic journey.
“Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, Shah Rukh Khan is coming home. Dunki, now streaming on Netflix,” tweeted the streamer, accompanied by a captivating poster of the film.
Starring powerhouse performers Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal alongside Shah Rukh Khan, “Dunki” had already captivated audiences during its successful theatrical run, which commenced on December 21. The film marks the maiden collaboration between the iconic Shah Rukh Khan and the acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani.
“Dunki” narrates the story of a group of individuals who opt for the unconventional ‘donkey route’ to immigrate from India to London, promising a unique and engaging cinematic experience.
For Shah Rukh Khan, “Dunki” adds to a series of triumphant returns to the silver screen after a five-year hiatus. The actor made a grand comeback in 2023 with three blockbuster hits — “Pathaan,” “Jawan,” and now, “Dunki,” reaffirming his status as the king of Bollywood. With its digital debut on Netflix, “Dunki” promises to continue entertaining audiences with its charm, wit, and heartwarming storytelling.
