Odisha’s Tourism: In a bid to showcase and boost tourism opportunities within the state, Odisha is gearing up for the fifth edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB) from February 7-9, 2024. The event, organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is poised to be a significant platform for the travel and tourism industry.
Event Highlights:
- Strategic Partnerships: OTB 2024 will kick off with a grand opening ceremony, setting the stage for structured Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings. These meetings will facilitate interactions between national and foreign tour operators, fostering strategic partnerships to promote tourism in Odisha.
- Buyer-Seller Meet: A three-day Buyer-Seller Meet will take center stage, providing a dynamic platform for both domestic and foreign parties. The objective is to facilitate meaningful engagements and collaborations that will contribute to the growth of Odisha’s tourism sector.
- Brand Awareness: The overarching goal of OTB 2024 is to create brand awareness for Odisha. The event will attract leading international and domestic tour operators, travel writers, and bloggers, positioning Odisha as a must-visit destination on the global tourism landscape.
- Participant Profile: Buyers participating in OTB 2024 include both domestic tour operators (DTOs) and foreign tour operators (FTOs). Additionally, stakeholders from Odisha’s tourism industry will showcase their products and offerings, presenting a comprehensive picture of the state’s tourism potential.
- FAM Tours: Post-event, buyers will embark on familiarization (FAM) tours to explore various attractions in Odisha. This hands-on experience allows them to witness the richness and diversity of the state’s cultural, historical, and natural offerings.

The Odisha Travel Bazaar serves as a crucial platform to bridge connections between key players in the tourism sector. By bringing together buyers and sellers, the event aims to unlock the full potential of Odisha’s tourism landscape, fostering collaborations that will contribute to economic growth and position Odisha as a sought-after destination for travelers worldwide.
