Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami recently unveiled a significant initiative aimed at bolstering the state’s education sector. Speaking on behalf of the Uttarakhand government, Dhami announced the approval of a ₹1200 crore annual plan for the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan and PM Shri Schools.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the initiative seeks to revamp educational infrastructure across Uttarakhand. The allocated funds will primarily focus on the construction of new school buildings, hostels, and science laboratories, addressing the critical need for modern facilities to support quality education.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami emphasized the importance of this investment in securing and strengthening the future of Uttarakhand’s children. By prioritizing education, the state aims to provide students with a conducive learning environment conducive to academic excellence and personal growth.
