Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami demonstrated a hands-on approach to governance as he distributed blankets to workers registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Welfare Board Labor Department. The initiative not only aimed at providing essential warmth but also served as an opportunity for the Chief Minister to personally interact with the workers and inquire about their well-being.
Expressing his commitment to the vision of a developed India laid out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pushkar Singh Dhami stated, “To fulfill the resolve of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a developed India, our government is continuously making efforts to improve the standard of living of every section of society.”
The distribution of blankets is a step towards addressing the immediate needs of the labor force, particularly those engaged in the construction sector. Uttarakhand, like many regions, experiences harsh winter conditions, and such initiatives contribute significantly to the well-being of the workforce.
