In the wake of the challenging situation unfolding in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has provided assurance and insights into the relentless efforts being made to ensure the safety of workers. In a recent statement, CM Dhami highlighted the sensitivity and active involvement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in overseeing the ongoing relief and rescue operations.
“Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very sensitive about the workers trapped in Silkyara, Uttarkashi Tunnel,” stated CM Dhami. “The Honorable PM is taking information every day about the well-being of the workers and the ongoing relief & rescue operations in the tunnel.”
This emphasis on daily updates from the Prime Minister reflects the gravity of the situation and the top-level commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of those affected. CM Dhami’s acknowledgment of this regular engagement underscores the collaborative approach being adopted to navigate the challenges posed by the tunnel incident.
CM Dhami further elucidated the comprehensive strategy in place, involving teams from central agencies, state administration, and international experts. This collective effort aims to explore and execute all possible options to expedite the safe evacuation of the workers trapped in the tunnel.
“Teams of central agencies, state administration, and international experts are working on all options; we will soon be successful in evacuating the labor brothers safely,” assured CM Dhami.
