Vicky Kaushal, known for his versatile roles, is embarking on a new journey with his upcoming period drama “Chhava,” centered around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Recently, Vicky shared on Instagram that a schedule of the film has been wrapped up in Wai, Maharashtra, expressing excitement for the next phase.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, “Chhava” also features the talented Rashmika Mandanna, who portrays the character of Yesu Bai. Rashmika, popularly known as the National Crush, confirmed the completion of her shooting stint via social media.
The film boasts an ensemble cast including Ashutosh Rana, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta, Kiran Karmarkar, Neelkanti Patekar, and others, each contributing pivotal roles to the narrative.
With Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna leading the cast, “Chhava” promises to delve deep into the historical narrative, offering audiences a glimpse into the life of a significant historical figure. As the team wraps up one schedule and gears up for the next phase of production, anticipation builds among fans eager to witness this epic tale unfold on the big screen.
