Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s recent film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has achieved monumental success at the box office, surpassing expectations and breaking records. Made with a budget ranging from Rs 15 to 25 crores, the film made a remarkable debut by earning Rs 3.55 crores on its first day alone, eventually amassing over 250 crores in India.
However, despite the tremendous financial success of ‘The Kashmir Files’, Vivek Agnihotri has disclosed that he now faces bankruptcy. He revealed that the earnings from his previous venture were all invested in his upcoming film ‘The Vaccine War’.

Coinciding with this news, Vivek Agnihotri’s documentary series ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’ premiered on the OTT platform Zee5 on August 11th. Comprising 7 episodes, this series delves into undisclosed aspects of the Kashmir issue, presenting a comprehensive view for viewers.

In light of his next ambitious project, ‘The Vaccine War’, Vivek Agnihotri will spotlight Indian scientists who swiftly developed a highly effective Covid-19 vaccine. The film will also shed light on the ongoing vaccination discourse in the United States. Notably, Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, and Saptami Gowda are set to play significant roles in ‘The Vaccine War’.
