US: Wisconsin engineer Nicolae Miu finds himself embroiled in controversy after claiming self-defense in the stabbing of teens on the Apple River. Miu recounts a harrowing encounter where he was surrounded and allegedly assaulted by the teens, who accused him of being a pedophile while assisting in the search for a lost phone.
The 54-year-old Miu, who volunteered to help a friend search for the missing phone in the water, asserts that the situation escalated rapidly as the teens surrounded him. Feeling threatened and fearing for his life, Miu maintains that the teens initiated the assault, leaving him with no option but to defend himself.
“They surrounded me like wolves,” Miu recalls. “”They struck me, overwhelmed me, and from that moment onward, my recollection becomes hazy.”
Amid conflicting reports and testimonies, the case has sparked a legal battle over the incident, raising questions about the limits of self-defense and the circumstances surrounding the altercation on the Apple River. As the investigation unfolds, the truth behind Miu’s claims and the events leading up to the stabbing will be closely scrutinized by authorities and the public alike.
