Deputy Chief Minister of the Uttar Pradesh Government, Keshav Prasad Maurya, has proudly announced that over 450 women artisans have achieved a remarkable feat by creating a Guinness World Record. The artisans set the record for the “largest display of elongated objects” with an astounding 1,755 objects as part of the Culture Unites All campaign during the Culture Working Group of the G20 in Hampi, Karnataka. This extraordinary accomplishment showcases the talent and creativity of Indian artisans while promoting the country’s rich cultural heritage on a global stage.
Keshav Prasad Maurya extends his heartfelt congratulations to all the artisans who contributed to this record-breaking achievement. Their dedication, skill, and commitment to India’s traditional practices have not only made these ancient art forms easily accessible but have also brought immense pride to the entire nation. The Deputy Chief Minister acknowledges the significant role played by these women artisans in preserving and promoting the cultural diversity of India.
“The Culture Unites All campaign has been instrumental in creating a platform for artisans to showcase their craftsmanship and artistic abilities. Through their participation in the Culture Working Group of the G20, these artisans have gained international recognition and admiration. The event in Hampi, Karnataka, served as a testament to the power of culture in fostering unity and building bridges across nations”.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasizes the importance of such initiatives that not only recognize the talent of Indian artisans but also provide them with opportunities to connect with a global audience. By breaking this Guinness World Record, the women artisans have not only set a new standard for excellence but have also paved the way for future generations to explore and showcase their artistic skills on a larger scale.
