On the 6th of January Amit shah on Twitter, “Immensely proud to unveil a 165 feet long Tiranga, the tallest in North East at the historic ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ headquarters in Moirang, where Netaji’s INA hoisted the Tiranga in 1944;”. and he said The Tiranga will keep reminding us of the heroes of our freedom struggle and inspire the youth.
The Azad Hind Fauj was first established on 29 October 1915 by Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh in Afghanistan. Basically, at that time it was the army of the Azad Hind government, whose objective was to fight against the British and to get the freedom to India.
When Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose started raising a trained army of about 40,000 Indian men and women in South-East Asia with the help of Japan and named it Azad Hind Fauj, he was appointed as the Supreme Commander of Azad Hind Fauj and commanded Handed over It is in his hands handed over.
