In response to the prevailing weather conditions in the state, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh has taken proactive steps to safeguard the well-being of students and residents. He announced the closure of all schools and colleges on 6th and 7th May 2024 as a precautionary measure against potential risks posed by the adverse weather.
“Chief Minister N. Biren Singh stated that the decision was made as a precautionary measure due to the risks posed by the current weather conditions. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing safety and urged everyone to stay updated and remain indoors during this period of uncertainty.
Acknowledging the potential impact of adverse weather on lives and properties, the Chief Minister reassured the public that the state government is fully committed to taking all necessary measures to protect lives and properties.
