Bizarre Discovery: In a scene straight out of a mystery novel, an 80-year-old woman was captured on camera pushing the dead body of her sister’s nun through the streets of Santiago, Chile. Initially, the grim discovery led police to suspect involvement with a drug cartel, only to unravel a bizarre tale of devotion and agreement between the two women.
Upon further investigation, authorities were stunned to learn that the deceased nun, aged 58, had passed away a year prior due to natural causes. What appeared to be a macabre cover-up turned out to be an act of profound affection and loyalty between the two women.
According to police reports, the pair had made a solemn agreement to care for each other even after death. For an entire year, the deceased nun’s body remained in a case, tended to by her surviving companion as a gesture of love and commitment.
However, the arrival of the alive nun’s daughter prompted a change of heart. Convinced by her visit, the 80-year-old woman agreed to lay her sister to rest officially, bringing closure to the peculiar saga.
Further revelations revealed that the women were not affiliated with any formal religious order but were instead described as “consecrated laywomen.” Despite the eerie circumstances, the elderly nun was not placed under arrest, with authorities understanding the unique bond that transcended conventional norms.
