Lucknow witnessed a significant milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s law enforcement capabilities as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spearheaded a program today to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 144 construction projects, aimed at fortifying the state’s police infrastructure. With an investment exceeding ₹2,310 crore, these projects signify a major leap towards modernizing and strengthening Uttar Pradesh Police facilities.
Addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his delight at the launch of the ambitious initiatives, which include the establishment of cyber cells, cyber crime police stations, anti-corruption organization police stations, and units across 1,523 police stations in all 75 districts of the state. Additionally, tourism stations in Prayagraj and Kushinagar were inaugurated, highlighting the government’s commitment to enhancing safety and security for tourists.
In his remarks, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the Uttar Pradesh Police for their dedication and commitment to ensuring law and order in the state. He emphasized the importance of robust infrastructure and modern technology in empowering law enforcement agencies to effectively combat crime and maintain peace and harmony in society.
The inauguration of cyber cells and anti-corruption police stations reflects the government’s proactive approach towards tackling emerging threats, such as cybercrime and corruption, while ensuring transparency and accountability in governance. These specialized units will play a crucial role in safeguarding citizens’ interests and upholding the rule of law.
“Furthermore, the establishment of tourism stations underscores the government’s efforts to promote tourism and boost economic development in Uttar Pradesh. By enhancing security measures and providing a safe environment for tourists, the state aims to attract more visitors and showcase its rich cultural heritage and historical significance”.
The ambitious police infrastructure projects launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath demonstrate the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Uttar Pradesh. The investments in modernizing police facilities and deploying advanced technology underscore the government’s proactive approach toward creating a secure and conducive environment for all citizens.
