Lucknow: In a significant stride towards educational advancement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spearheaded the inauguration of a ₹404 crore modernization initiative for 925 PM Shree Schools in Lucknow. The launch ceremony, attended by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, not only marked a momentous occasion for the state of Uttar Pradesh but also reflected the commitment of the government to uplifting the quality of education.
Modernization of PM Shree Schools:
The ambitious modernization project, costing ₹404 crore, aims to revamp 925 PM Shree Schools across Uttar Pradesh. The initiative underscores the state government’s dedication to providing students with state-of-the-art facilities and fostering an environment conducive to holistic learning. The modernization endeavor aligns with the broader vision of creating a robust educational infrastructure that caters to the evolving needs of students in the 21st century.
Key Announcements during the Launch:
During the launch event, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made several crucial announcements, highlighting the multifaceted approach towards educational development. In addition to unveiling the modernization project, CM Yogi distributed appointment letters to officers selected for Group ‘B’ positions. This move is expected to strengthen the administrative framework, ensuring efficient governance and management within the education sector.
Furthermore, a substantial allocation of ₹347 crore was directed towards the reconstruction and development of infrastructure facilities in secondary schools under the banner of ‘Project Alankar’. This initiative seeks to enhance the overall quality of secondary education by upgrading facilities and creating an environment conducive to academic excellence.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the transformative initiatives, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the school communities, newly selected officers, and spokespersons associated with the project.
