In a significant development for Madhya Pradesh’s political landscape, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has conveyed his warm congratulations to the Honorable Kailash Vijayvargiya for assuming key portfolios in the state’s administration. The seasoned politician has been entrusted with the crucial responsibilities of Urban Development and Housing, along with the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
CM Mohan Yadav, recognizing Kailash Vijayvargiya’s long-term experience and proven administrative efficiency, expressed optimism about the transformative impact that the leader is expected to bring to these important sectors. In his statement, CM Yadav conveyed, “Certainly, with your long-term experience and administrative efficiency, the department will set new patterns of progress.”
“Highlighting the significance of collaboration and collective effort, CM Yadav added, “With your support, we will fulfill every resolution of respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” This statement underscores the commitment of the state government to align its policies and initiatives with the vision set forth by the Prime Minister for the overall development and progress of the nation”.
“Kailash Vijayvargiya, a stalwart in Indian politics, has an illustrious career that spans several decades. Born on May 13, 1956, he currently serves as the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His political journey began in the Indore Bharatiya Janata Party, where he held various positions, including the crucial role of the mayor of Indore. Notably, Vijayvargiya has been a six-time legislator, maintaining a remarkable record of never losing an assembly election”.
In addition to his contributions at the state level, Kailash Vijayvargiya has served as a state government cabinet minister for over 12 years. His elevation to the central leadership of the BJP reflects the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership abilities. Notably, he played a pivotal role as the in-charge of BJP’s election campaign for Haryana in 2014, a campaign that resulted in a resounding victory for the party in the assembly elections.
“Following this success, Kailash Vijayvargiya’s influence within the party expanded, leading to his appointment as the National General Secretary by the then-party president, Amit Shah, in June 2015. Additionally, he assumed the leadership of the BJP in West Bengal, further solidifying his role in shaping the party’s strategies at both the state and national levels”.
