The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its newest slate of candidates for the impending general elections, revealing contenders for seven Lok Sabha constituencies spread across Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

The 12th list released by the BJP includes notable candidates such as Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhonsle for the Satara Lok Sabha seat in Maharashtra, and Anita Som Prakash for the Hoshiarpur (SC) Lok Sabha seat in Punjab. Other candidates featured in the list represent constituencies in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.

As the BJP solidifies its roster for the electoral battle ahead, the political arena witnesses heightened activity, with the Congress also unveiling a fresh list of candidates. Notable mentions from the Congress include political activist Kanhaiya Kumar, set to contest against BJP MP Manoj Tiwari from the North East Delhi constituency.

Moreover, the Congress named JP Agarwal as its candidate for the Chandni Chowk seat and former MP Udit Raj for the North West Delhi-SC seat, adding further intrigue to the electoral contest.
