In a compassionate move aimed at extending support to the victims of a devastating road accident in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced ex-gratia relief from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF). The announcement came through a tweet posted on X by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The tweet stated, “An ex-gratia payment of Rs. 2 lakh from the PMNRF will be provided to the immediate family members of each deceased individual involved in the tragedy in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi.”
The tragic incident, which occurred in Dindori, resulted in the loss of lives and left several individuals injured. In response to this unfortunate event, the Prime Minister has swiftly taken action to provide financial assistance to the affected families.
Under this relief measure, a sum of Rs. 2 lakh will be disbursed to the next of kin of each deceased victim from the PMNRF. Additionally, those who sustained injuries in the accident will receive Rs. 50,000 each to aid in their recovery and medical expenses.
The Prime Minister’s announcement underscores the government’s commitment to standing with the citizens during times of crisis and offering support to those in need. By extending financial assistance through the PMNRF, the government aims to alleviate the financial burden on the affected families and assist them in coping with the aftermath of the tragic incident.
Furthermore, this gesture exemplifies the government’s proactive approach in addressing unforeseen calamities and providing timely assistance to mitigate the impact on the affected individuals and communities.
