Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On the 11th of January PM Modi said, “Come and invest in Madhya Pradesh! My remarks at the Global Investors’ Summit being held in Indore”.
Modi said All the investors are very welcome in Madhya Pradesh, the role of Madhya Pradesh is very important in building a developed India, from faith to spirituality to tourism, from agriculture to education and skill development MP is amazing.
Friends, all these things are happening in Madhya Pradesh at such a time when the nectar period of India’s independence has started. We all are united together to build a developed India and when we talk about a developed India, it is not just our aspiration, but it is the resolve of every Indian.
PM said, “I am glad that not only we Indians but all the experts of the defeatist thinking of the world are looking confident about this”. India has strong macroeconomic fundamentals.
Modi said A stable government, a decisive government, a government running with the right intentions, shows development at an unprecedented pace. Every important decision for the country is taken as fast as possible.
Friends, You have also seen how in the last 8 years, we have continuously increased the speed and scale of reforms. Reforms related to recapitalization and governance in the banking sector, creating a modern resolution framework like IBC, creating a system like One Nation One Tax in the form of GST, making corporate tax globally competitive, exempting sovereign wealth funds and pension funds from tax Be it allowing 100% FDI through the automatic route in many sectors, decriminalizing minor economic mistakes, we have removed many hurdles in the path of investment through many such reforms. Today’s new India is moving forward relying equally on the strength of its private sector.
“We have also opened up many strategic sectors like defense, mining and space for the private sector. Including dozens of Labor Laws in 4 codes is also a big step in itself”.
Friends, To reduce the burden of compliance, unprecedented efforts are underway at both the Center and the State level. About 40,000 compliances have been removed in the last few years. Recently, we have started the National Single Window System, with which Madhya Pradesh has also joined. About 50 thousand approvals have been given so far under this system.
Friends, India’s modern infrastructure, and multimodal infrastructure is also giving rise to investment possibilities. In 8 years, we have doubled the speed of the construction of National Highways. The number of operational airports in India has doubled during this period.
There has been an unprecedented improvement in India’s port handling capacity and port turnaround. Dedicated freight corridors, industrial corridors, expressways, and logistic parks, are becoming the identity of New India.
PM Gatishakti is a national platform for infrastructure building in India for the first time in the form of a National Master Plan. On this platform, there is updated data related to the governments, agencies, and investors of the country. India is the world’s most.
