PM Modi to inaugurate Multi-billion Development Projects in Uttar Pradesh

In a significant stride towards bolstering the civil aviation sector, Prime Minister Modi is slated to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 15 airport projects across the nation, amounting to over Rs 9,800 crore. Among these projects, 12 new Terminal Buildings will be unveiled, enhancing the annual passenger capacity to a staggering 620 lakh individuals. Additionally, the foundation stone for three new Terminal Buildings will be laid, expected to increase the combined passenger handling capacity to 95 lakh per annum. These modern Terminal Buildings, characterized by their sustainable design elements and incorporation of local architectural influences, are set to revolutionize air travel experiences.

Addressing the critical need for affordable housing, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Light House Project (LHP) in Lucknow and Ranchi, introducing over 2000 contemporary flats equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure. Leveraging innovative construction technologies from Germany and Canada, these projects promise sustainable and futuristic living environments, aligning with the government’s vision of ‘Housing for All’.

Furthering the infrastructural development agenda, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone for road projects worth more than Rs 19,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh. These projects encompass the expansion of Lucknow Ring Road, the six-laning of key highway sections, and the construction of rural roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, collectively aimed at enhancing connectivity and fostering socioeconomic progress across the state.

In a bid to fortify rail connectivity, Prime Minister Modi will dedicate several rail projects worth approximately Rs 8,200 crore, including doubling and electrification of key rail sections, gauge conversion initiatives, and the inauguration of new rail lines and MEMU train services. These endeavors are poised to bolster rail infrastructure and expedite regional development.

Moreover, Prime Minister Modi will unveil multiple sewage treatment plants and other crucial projects in Prayagraj, Jaunpur, and Etawah, underscoring the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and public welfare.

In a parallel endeavor to promote women’s empowerment, Prime Minister Modi will initiate the Mahatari Vandana Yojana in Chhattisgarh, disbursing financial assistance to eligible married women as a means to foster economic independence, gender equality, and familial stability.

The collective inauguration, dedication, and foundation stone laying ceremonies signify a concerted effort by the government to propel Uttar Pradesh towards a trajectory of inclusive growth and holistic development.
