PM Modi’s Upcoming Visit: Key Inaugurations and Foundation Stones in Surat and Varanasi

PM Modi is set to undertake a crucial two-day visit to Surat, Gujarat, and Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on the 17th and 18th of December. The visit encompasses a series of inaugural events and foundation stone-laying ceremonies, underscoring the government’s commitment to transformative development projects. Prime Minister’s Itinerary in Surat:

On 17th December, PM Modi will commence his visit by inaugurating the New Integrated Terminal Building at Surat Airport around 10:45 AM. Subsequently, at 11:15 AM, he will inaugurate the Surat Diamond Bourse, the world’s largest and most modern center for the international diamond and jewelry business.

The New Integrated Terminal Building is designed to handle a substantial passenger capacity, reflecting the gateway status of Surat City. The airport’s sustainability features, such as a double-insulated roofing system, canopies for energy saving, and a solar power plant, align with environmental considerations.

Varanasi Leg of the Visit:

In Varanasi,PM Modi’s schedule on 17th December includes participation in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Cutting Memorial School ground. He will interact with beneficiaries of various government schemes, emphasizing the impact on citizens’ lives.

Continuing his commitment to Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, PM Modi will inaugurate Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2023 at Namo Ghat, fostering cultural connections. On 18th December, he will inaugurate the newly built SwarVed Mahamandir in Umaraha and address devotees.

Foundation Stones and Inaugurations in Varanasi:

On 18th December, PM Modi’s agenda includes inaugurating the New Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar-New Bhaupur Dedicated Freight Corridor Project, promoting efficient freight transportation. He will also inaugurate the green-field Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara road and unveil the unified tourist pass system, integrating ticket bookings for key tourist attractions.

The PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for various projects, including an 800 MW solar park in Chitrakoot district and a new petroleum oil terminal at Mirzapur, enhancing energy resources and supply chain efficiency.
