Madhya Pradesh: Rajendra Shukla, an influential figure in Madhya Pradesh politics. Born on August 3, 1964, in Rewa, Shukla, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), currently holds the esteemed positions of Deputy Chief Minister and Member of the Legislative Assembly from the Rewa constituency. During his tenure as an MLA, Shukla served in various ministries, demonstrating his versatility in handling portfolios related to forestry, biodiversity/biotechnology, mineral resources, and law and legislative affairs. His elevation to the position of cabinet minister in 2023 under Shivaraj Singh Chauhan’s government solidifies his standing as a key architect of policy and governance in Madhya Pradesh.
