Uttar Pradesh: The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has granted aspirants an extended opportunity to apply for the UP Police Recruitment 2024, focusing on Grade-A Computer Officer positions. Previously scheduled to conclude on January 28, 2024, the application deadline has now been pushed to January 31, 2024. Candidates aspiring to join the recruitment drive can submit their applications via uppbpb.gov.in.
For both UP Police Computer Operator and Programmer posts, applicants need to pay a Rs 400 application fee. Prospective candidates are urged to ensure their eligibility before applying. To qualify for the Computer Operator role, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, along with an ‘O’ level examination in Computer. Additionally, candidates should be between 18 to 28 years old as of July 1, 2023.
The UPPRPB aims to fill 930 vacancies for Computer Operator positions in UP Police through this recruitment drive. Selection will be based on an online written examination comprising 160 questions for a maximum of 200 marks. Correct responses will earn candidates 1.25 marks each.
The exam will cover General Knowledge, Reasoning, Mental Ability, and Computer Knowledge. Detailed eligibility criteria and further information can be found on the official website. As the extended deadline approaches, prospective candidates are encouraged to complete their applications promptly.
