UP’s Progress: Antyodaya-Driven Initiatives under the Leadership of CM Yogi

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Under the visionary leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, the state government has been actively implementing various schemes for the welfare and well-being of its citizens. Operating in alignment with the principle of Antyodaya, these initiatives aim to uplift every individual, leaving no one behind.

One notable initiative is the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, through which loans have been disbursed to over 15 lakh street vendors, enabling them to initiate or expand their businesses. This program empowers entrepreneurs at the grassroots level, fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency.

Additionally, under the Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana (Gharauni), the government has distributed property ownership certificates to more than 60 lakh beneficiaries in rural areas. This step not only provides security of landownership but also stimulates rural development by encouraging investment and infrastructure improvement.

In line with the national ‘Swachh Bharat Mission,’ Uttar Pradesh has made remarkable strides by constructing 2.61 crore toilets (Izzatghar), benefitting approximately 10 crore people. These efforts contribute to improved sanitation and hygiene, enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.

The commitment to Antyodaya, ensuring the welfare of every citizen, lies at the core of these initiatives led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. As Uttar Pradesh continues on its path of progress and development, these programs exemplify the government’s dedication to the upliftment of its people, especially those in marginalized communities, ultimately contributing to a more prosperous and inclusive society.
