Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, highlighted a remarkable transformation in Uttar Pradesh’s aviation landscape, unveiling plans for a substantial increase in the number of airports. Acknowledging the collaborative efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Scindia announced that the state has witnessed a rise from 6 to 10 airports.
Expressing optimism about the future, Scindia declared, “The number of airports in the state will reach 16 by the end of this year and will increase to 19 by 2025.” This ambitious plan reflects a concerted effort to enhance connectivity, stimulate economic growth, and facilitate ease of travel for the residents of Uttar Pradesh.
The Union Minister emphasized the pivotal role of aviation infrastructure in fostering regional development and connectivity. The expansion of airports is not only a testament to the commitment of the central and state leadership but also aligns with the broader vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a hub of economic activity.
