Amit Shah Inaugurated 5 Projects Worth Rs 52 Crore.

On the 6th of January, Amit shah Inaugurated 5 projects worth ₹ 52 crores dedicated to improving education, tourism, power generation, and connectivity in the state.

Amit Shah said that the funds allocated to Nagaland by the Government of India under the leadership of PM Modi have increased four times as compared to the period from 2004-2014.Under the previous Central Govt.

He said the 15th Finance Commission has made a provision of Rs 4,773 crore for Nagaland in 2022-23., while only Rs. 1,283 crores was allocated in 2009-10, and in addition to this, special assistance of Nagaland has been given Rs two hundred nineteen crores in 2021-22.

Shah said, “the incidents of militancy in Nagaland have come down by 74 percent in 2021 as compared to 2014, while the number of deaths of security personnel and civilians has come down by 60 and 84 percent respectively, which shows that law and state Order is being maintained. He said that the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started the process of gradually removing AFSPA from the state of Nagaland”.
