Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

The exit poll results for all five states — Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram — were disclosed on November 30, with voting conducted between November 7 and November 30. The final results are set to be announced on Sunday, December 3.

Rajasthan Assembly Exit Polls 2023:

In Rajasthan, the poll of polls suggest a fierce and neck-and-neck contest between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress. While some exit polls predict a potential change in power dynamics with the BJP likely to oust the Congress, the overall analysis points toward the intriguing possibility of a hung assembly. The BJP may secure 91-92 seats, closely followed by the Congress with 93-94 seats, intensifying the political drama in the state.

Madhya Pradesh Assembly Exit Polls 2023:

The poll of polls for Madhya Pradesh indicates that the BJP is expected to retain power, albeit by a slim margin. Projections foresee the BJP winning 124-125 seats, while the Congress trails with an estimated 101-102 seats. With the majority mark set at 115 seats, the state promises to witness a closely contested battle for governance.

Telangana: Setback for BRS

In Telangana, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) faces a potential setback, with the Congress appearing to lead the race, as per exit polls and the poll of polls. The analysis indicates that K Chandrashekar Rao’s BRS might lose by approximately 20 seats, paving the way for the Congress to secure a narrow majority. With the Congress projected to win 62-63 seats against the BRS’s 41-42 seats, Telangana’s political landscape is poised for a change.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Exit Polls 2023:

Chhattisgarh seems to present a relatively clear picture, with the Congress projected to emerge victorious. The party is estimated to secure 49-50 seats out of the total 90, comfortably crossing the majority mark of 46. In contrast, the BJP is likely to win 38-39 seats, with no exit polls showing a majority for the party in the state.

Mizoram Assembly Exit Polls 2023:

Mizoram may witness a hung assembly, with no party crossing the majority mark of 21 seats, as per exit polls. The Mizoram National Front (MNF), led by Chief Minister Zoramthanga, faces a potential setback, with the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) projected to win 19-20 seats compared to the MNF’s estimated 12-13 seats. The intricate political landscape in Mizoram adds an element of uncertainty to the final outcome.

As the countdown to the result day on December 3 intensifies, political enthusiasts and observers eagerly await the unfolding of these electoral dramas, poised to shape the political trajectory of these crucial states.
