Pawan Thakur, General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, has exemplified the spirit of community and compassion by making a noteworthy donation to the Disaster Relief Fund in Shimla. On behalf of Ganpati Ropeways Private Limited, situated in Naina Devi, District Bilaspur, Pawan Thakur contributed a generous sum of Rs 2 lakh to support disaster relief efforts.
In a show of solidarity and collective responsibility, others joined in this commendable initiative. Singh and P. Bose presented a substantial check of Rs 11 lakh towards the Disaster Relief Fund. Additionally, Kartik Thakur, hailing from Karabh village in Rohru tehsil of Shimla district, extended his support with a significant contribution of Rs 75 thousand.
“The contributions made by these individuals and organizations are invaluable in assisting disaster relief efforts and aiding those affected by unforeseen calamities. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his heartfelt appreciation for these generous gestures, acknowledging the importance of such collective efforts in times of crisis”.
“Such acts of generosity serve as a shining example of how communities can come together to support those in need during challenging times. The contributions made by Pawan Thakur, Singh, P. Bose, Kartik Thakur, and others will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference in alleviating the impact of disasters and providing relief to affected individuals and families”.
