As of now, the nationwide vaccination drive in India has administered a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses, with 95.21 crore individuals receiving their second dose and 22.87 crore individuals receiving the precautionary dose. In the last 24 hours, 2,363 doses have been administered. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at 36,244, accounting for only 0.08% of the total cases.
The recovery rate is at 98.73%, with 7,873 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,43,92,828. Additionally, 3,962 new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 2.17% and a weekly positivity rate of 3.13%.
So far, India has conducted a total of 92.72 crore tests, with 1,82,294 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Despite the challenges, the country’s vaccination drive and testing efforts have shown positive results, contributing to the continuous decline in active cases and the rise in recoveries.
