As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in India. Out of this, 95.21 crores have received the second dose, while 22.87 crores have received the precautionary dose. In the last 24 hours, 749 doses were administered. Currently, India’s active caseload stands at 61,233, which accounts for only 0.14% of the total cases.
The country’s recovery rate is at an impressive 98.68%, with 6,702 recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 4,42,42,474. However, 7,633 new cases were recorded in the same period, with a daily positivity rate of 3.62% and a weekly positivity rate of 5.04%. India has conducted a total of 92.43 crore tests so far, with 2,11,029 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
