The idol of Lord Ganesha in Siddhivinayak Temple is believed to be self-manifested, which means it was not created by any human being.
The architecture of Siddhivinayak Temple
Siddhivinayak Temple has a unique architecture that is a blend of Hindu and Muslim styles. The temple is built in a rectangular shape with a dome-shaped structure on the top. The temple has a black stone idol of Lord Ganesha, which is two and a half feet tall and two feet wide. The idol is decorated with gold and precious stones and is placed on a silver throne.
The temple also has a separate hall for devotees to perform rituals and a beautiful garden that adds to the serene atmosphere of the temple. The temple’s architecture and intricate carvings on the walls make it one of the most beautiful temples in India.

During the festival, the temple is decorated with flowers, lights, and rangolis, and a grand procession is held to immerse the idol of Lord Ganesha in water.
Apart from Ganesh Chaturthi, the temple also celebrates other festivals such as Diwali, Navratri, and Holi with equal enthusiasm and zeal.
