As of today, a total of 220.32 crore vaccine doses have been administered under the nationwide vaccination drive – this includes 95.16 crore second doses and 22.59 crore precautionary doses. Out of this, 2,12,020 doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
India’s active caseload currently stands at 1,922, which is just 0.01% of the total number of cases. The recovery rate is currently at 98.81% and 111 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 4,41,49,547.
However, we cannot let our guard down just yet as 102 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate stands at 0.07%. We must continue to follow all the safety guidelines and keep up our efforts to keep the virus at bay.
