The Nationwide Vaccination Drive in India has administered a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses so far, with 95.21 crore doses being second doses and 22.87 crore doses being precautionary doses. In the last 24 hours, 5,602 doses were administered. The country’s active caseload currently stands at 67,556, which is only 0.15% of the total cases.
The recovery rate is currently at 98.66%, with 10,765 recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,42,83,021. On the other hand, 12,193 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 6.17% and a weekly positivity rate of 5.29%.
Furthermore, a total of 92.52 crore tests have been conducted so far, with 1,97,477 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, India continues its efforts to contain the spread of the virus and vaccinate its citizens.
