India has made significant progress in its nationwide vaccination drive against COVID-19, with a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses administered so far. Out of these, 95.21 crore have been second doses, while 22.87 crore have been precautionary doses. In the last 24 hours, 1,930 doses were administered.
The country’s active caseload currently stands at 33,232, which is just 0.07% of the total cases reported. The recovery rate is currently at an impressive 98.74%, with 6,587 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,43,99,415.
However, there were 3,611 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, and the daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.08%, while the weekly positivity rate was at 2.88%. The total number of tests conducted so far is 92.74 crore, with 1,73,263 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, India has made significant progress in its efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 through vaccination and other measures.
