On the 12th of January, A delegation of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) led by Shri T.R. MP (Lok Sabha) Balu called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Know About TR Balu:-
Thalikottai Rajuthevar Balu, popularly known as T. R. Balu, is an Indian politician. Balu did B.Sc. from New College, Chennai at the University of Madras and a Diploma in Drafting Engineering Drawing from Central Polytechnic Chennai.
He is currently the Member of Parliament of the Lok Sabha from the Sriperumbudur constituency, having been elected five times since 1996 from Chennai South and Sriperumbudur. He is a leader of the DMK party and is known for his political allegiance to the party since 1957.
He was elected treasurer of DMK on 3 September 2020. Since August, he had served as the Principal Secretary of the DMK party Jan 2020 to 2018.
