Born on November 24, 1981, Celina Jaitly is an Indian actress who has had roles in Bollywood films. She was the 4th runner-up at Miss Universe 2001 and won Miss India in 2001. The 2003 thriller Janasheen was her acting debut.
Celina Jaitly was born to a Punjabi Hindu father, Colonel V. K. Jaitly, and an Afghan Hindu mother, Meeta, who was a nurse in the Indian Army. Celina has a brother in the army.
She also studied in Odisha, Berhampur. She spent a major portion of her college days in Kolkata, West Bengal, where her father was posted. The family has now settled in Mhow. Celina Jaitly has a degree in commerce from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Briefly, after graduation, Celina worked in a cell phone company.
