There are a few household products that can be used to wash your car. These include dish soap, laundry detergent, Essential oils, vinegar, etc. Each of these products has its own unique properties that can help to clean your car.
1. Vinegar
Vinegar can be used for many purposes around the house and in the car. Its uses range from deodorizing to cleaning the windshield or upholstery. A cleaning solution should be made of three parts water to one part vinegar. To help keep your windshield free of frost in the winter, you can mix 3 parts vinegar to 1 part water in a spray bottle and spray it.
2. Essential oils
Washing your car with essential oils is a great way to avoid using harsh chemicals. Not only are essential oils gentle on your car, but they also leave behind a pleasant smell. To get started, simply add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to a bucket of water. Then, use a sponge or washcloth to scrub your car clean. You can also add a few drops of essential oil to your car shampoo for an extra boost of cleanliness.
3. Toothpaste
We all know that toothpaste is great for cleaning our teeth, but did you know that it can also be used for washing your car? That’s right – toothpaste can be used as a car cleaning agent!
Toothpaste is abrasive and contains certain chemicals that can break down grime and dirt. This makes it the perfect product to use for cleaning your car. Simply apply a small amount of toothpaste to a damp cloth and start scrubbing away the dirt on your car.
Plus, using toothpaste to clean your car is much cheaper than using commercial car cleaning products. So next time you need to give your car a wash, reach for the toothpaste instead!
4. Coconut Oil
Did you know that you can use coconut oil to wash your car? That’s right – coconut oil makes an excellent car cleaner! Just apply it to a cloth and wipe down your car’s surface. It will leave your car looking clean and shiny.
Plus, coconut oil is good for the environment. Unlike many car cleaners, it is non-toxic and biodegradable. So if you spill any, you don’t have to worry about harming the planet.
5. Baking Soda
There are many benefits to washing your car with baking soda. It’s a great way to get rid of tough stains and dirt for one. Plus, it’s environmentally friendly and gentle on your paint job.
Here’s how to wash your car with baking soda:
1. Make a baking soda paste. Combine baking soda with water to form a thick paste.
2. Apply the paste to your car. Rub the paste into the dirty areas of your car, using a sponge or cloth.
3. Let the paste for a few minutes. This will give the baking soda time to work properly.
4. Rinse your car. Use a hose or pressure washer to remove the baking soda paste.
5. Dry your car. Dry your car with a clean towel, cloth, or chamois.
Washing your car with baking soda is a great way to keep it clean and sparkling. Plus, it’s gentle on your paint job and good for the environment. The next time you wash your car, give it a try!
