Preity Zinta, a prominent figure in Indian cinema, is part of the Indian contingent at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The actor, who arrived in the French Riviera on Wednesday, has made her presence felt at the prestigious event, although her highly anticipated red-carpet appearance is yet to come.
Preity Zinta dazzled in a shimmery pearl white gown by Australian designer Vivienna Lorikeet, complemented by elegant pearl earrings. Her sleek, tied-back hairstyle complemented the elegant look, with a riverside setting adding to the charm of her poised appearance, radiating grace and sophistication.
Preity’s participation is particularly special as she is there to present the prestigious Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography honor to her longtime collaborator, Santosh Sivan.
Their collaboration dates back to Preity’s debut film, Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se (1998), where Santosh was the cinematographer. They come together again for Preity’s return to the big screen after seven years, in Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming period drama Lahore 1947.
The Cannes Film Festival has always celebrated cinematic excellence, and Preity Zinta’s presence brings a touch of Indian glamour and talent to the occasion.
