Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Encourages High Voter Turnout in State and Lok Sabha Elections

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has issued a fervent appeal to the electorate as the state gears up for the eighth State Legislative Assembly and 18th Lok Sabha elections.

“As Arunachal Pradesh votes today to elect representatives for the eighth State Legislative Assembly and 18th Lok Sabha, I appeal to all eligible voters to exercise their franchise in large numbers,” stated Pema Khandu, underlining the crucial role of citizen participation in the democratic process.

Encouraging vibrant participation, Pema Khandu emphasized, “Let us overwhelmingly participate in this vibrant festival to enrich democracy. I also call upon the youth and first-time voters to take part in the elections.”

The Chief Minister reiterated the significance of each ballot cast, emphasizing its role in fortifying democracy. “Every vote matters to further strengthen democracy! Today, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections begin, as 102 seats across 21 States and Union Territories go to polls,” he affirmed.

In his appeal to voters in the 102 constituencies participating in the Lok Sabha elections, Khandu urged, “I appeal to all eligible electorate in these constituencies to cast their votes in large numbers. Let us overwhelmingly participate in this festival of democracy.”
