“Miley Jab Hum Tum,” one of the most beloved youth-based shows, still holds a special place in the hearts of its viewers even after 15 years. The series, which revolved around the college life of its vibrant characters, offered a delightful blend of romance, drama, friendship, and more. It not only entertained but also catapulted its lead actors to fame and made them household names.
The show introduced us to the endearing characters of Samrat, Gunjan, Mayank, and Nupur, portrayed by the talented actors Mohit Sehgal, Sanaya Irani, Arjun Bijlani, and Rati Pandey, respectively. Their performances were not only appreciated but also cherished by the audience.
However, what added an extra layer of charm to “Miley Jab Hum Tum” was the blossoming onscreen romance between Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani’s characters, Samrat and Gunjan. Their chemistry was so palpable that it transcended the screen and transformed into real-life love. The two actors eventually tied the knot, making their journey from reel to real a fairy tale in itself.
Mohit Sehgal’s Reflections on the 15th Anniversary of ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’
As the show completes 15 years, Mohit Sehgal, who essayed the role of Samrat, took to social media to express his gratitude. In an Instagram post, he acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the entire team behind the scenes who contributed to the show’s success. Mohit wrote this on his Instagram’s caption, “Celebrating 15 years of ”Miley Jab Hum Tum”. So much to be thankful for, jet-setting our career, finding love, making friends, & above all just having the best 2.5 years of our lives.”
He also extended his heartfelt thanks to Sudhir Sharma and Seema Sharma, the creative minds behind the show, for bringing such a wonderful story to life. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to “Gattu” for crafting the narrative so beautifully. Mohit Sehgal concluded his post with a special note of appreciation for the audience, who still fondly refer to him and Sanaya Irani as Samrat and Gunjan and continue to shower them with love.
