Gopal Shetty, the Lok Sabha Member of Parliament from North Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a well-known political figure in India. Born on 31 January 1954, he has been an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for many years and has made significant contributions to the development of the North Mumbai constituency.
Shetty started his political journey as a corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and went on to become the chairman of the standing committee of BMC. He was elected as the Member of Parliament from Mumbai North in 2014 and again in the 2019 general elections.
During his tenure as the MP, Shetty has worked towards improving the infrastructure and overall quality of life for the residents of North Mumbai. He has been instrumental in the construction of various public facilities such as flyovers, roads, and recreational spaces. He has also been a strong advocate for the development of the fishing community in North Mumbai.
Shetty’s efforts have been widely appreciated by the people of North Mumbai, who have elected him to the Lok Sabha twice. He has established himself as a dedicated and hardworking politician who is always working toward the betterment of his constituents.
